Finished with radiation 2 weeks ago and yes it is healing. I can sit! My Chemo pump was removed yesterday so I am still tired, ready to get on with life. The itch sometimes, mostly when I'm trying to sleep drives me crazy. lets just say when I wake up I need to wash my hands! Haha but seriously!! I have good days and poor me days and probably need to go talk with someone. I do have question... everyone seems to have had 5fu infused with mitomycin. I only had 5fU 24/7 for almost 8 weeks. Did anyone else not have the mitomycin?
What a great picture. Beautiful.

Welcome Dawn. Beautiful picture. I was diagnosed at 48 years old as well. But that was over 5 years ago and things are great. The HPV and Anal Cancer Foundation has a peer support program which can be really helpful at this stage of the healing process for you. Definitely check them out as you can be connected with someone and can choose email or phone, or both! It sounds like the healing is going well for you so good job on taking care of yourself during treatment. This site is great and you can feel comfortable asking any question you want.
Take care.
